Elevate Your Game and Your Future: Maryland Prep Football Program
Maryland Prep is a post-graduate football program designed to help un-recruited athletes showcase and enhance their skills to pursue collegiate football careers at D1, D2, D3, or NAIA levels. Catering to NCAA qualifiers and non-qualifiers, the program provides academic support, SAT/ACT prep, and life skills training to improve recruitment opportunities. Athletes will refine their football knowledge, boost speed, agility, strength, and develop position-specific skills while gaining essential life and study skills. To qualify, participants should have played high school football or one year at the college level. Maryland Prep focuses on preparing athletes for success both on and off the field.
Will I lose any college eligibility if I play at Maryland Prep? No! A recent court ruling has brought significant changes to NCAA policies regarding eligibility, specifically related to junior college (JUCO) participation and transfer rules.
The ruling states that JUCO years will no longer count against a student-athlete's NCAA eligibility, meaning players may now attend a JUCO/Prep institution without it affecting the number of years they have to compete at an NCAA school. This change, combined with the more flexible NCAA transfer portal policies, creates new opportunities for athletes to explore pathways that best fit their academic and athletic goals.
We compete against Junior Varsity College or University football teams. This will give participating student athletes an opportunity to showcase their skills against college level football players. We will have at least a 8-game competitive season. (See preliminary schedule under schedule tab). Interested athletes should email us and attend information sessions.
